From my first little Kodak instant camera, through those little rectangular boxes with a flash at one end right into 35mm and finally a digital camera.
At every stage with cameras what I saw on the print wasn’t what I’d seen through the lens. But like everyone else I guess I was guilty of thinking something as simple as looking through a window and pressing a button was all that was needed to take a picture.
Since 2007 I’ve been trying to decipher the style and technique of digital photography. This blog tells the story of me learning to take a picture.
My name is Paul. I’m learning to snap.
