Hah, yes. All I know here is it’s purple, flower-shaped and a worthy target for a photograph. I like shooting flowers, birds and so on but have no clue what they are most of the time.

With you on the detail thing, I’ve been getting a lot more shots where I’ll crop tightly on smaller details, I think a macro lens will be in my not too distant future, the “25mm extension tubes plus 135mm lens” I’m using for that now does work, but is kind of a pain to work with.

Ah, my inner car geek rises to the challenge, at least partly.

The “Flying A” is from any number of different Austin cars of the 1950′s era. Beyond that I don’t know which model.

BOY 576 is this car (no photo here unfortunately), a 1936 Standard 12/4 Deluxe. Seems to fit the description anyway.

The wheel? No idea.

Really like this Paul. This may be a bit weird but it feels very futurist and strangely organic at the same time to me – don’t know why but the stairs made me think of an artery and the criss-cross of the windows like fragile capillaries. Maybe I just need to rein in my imagination….
